Regular Workshops

An artistic atelier is a space dedicated to exploring creative urges through artistic experimentation and interactions among creators. Artistic practice is based on the development of ideas through technical and conceptual exploration in a continuous manner, impelling each individual to find their own style.

For that reason, atelier INVENTÁRIO offers weekly based workshops, organised into four levels — Oficina Ideia, Oficina Processo, Oficina Projecto and Oficina Livre — aimed at different age groups and pertain to different parts of the artistic creation.

They are organised according to the notion of creative progression: first, an idea emerges (Oficina Ideia), then comes the understanding of the process (Oficina Processo), which is followed by the work becoming the project (Oficina Projecto). Finally, there’s the achievement of an autonomous practice (Oficina Livre).

Throughout the year, all workshops develop work based on a proposed theme, adapted to each group while privileging individual interests. As such, children and youngsters can explore the same concepts through different challenges, creating a common language and developing relations among peers.

INVENTÁRIO functions as a shared studio space where doing, experimenting and reflecting serve as a basis for the development of creative skills, critical thinking, autonomy and the ability to communicate through interdisciplinary creation.
